Dr Yacob Astatke, TASFA's Board of Directors presidant and the Ethiopian Diaspora Service Inititative (EDSI) co-chair met with advisors at the Prime Minister's office to discuss EDSI's upcoming events in Ethiopia. The meeting went well and TASFA's received encouragement and verbal commitment from the  Ethiopian government to support the planned knowledge exchange and conferences. Action items from the meeting included scaling up the engineering education conference from eight to all public universities, and adding a management section to the conference.
